A few days ago Google announced the latest news for the Chrome browser, which concerns one of its fundamental principles, the speed of page loading and website navigation . Google is in fact working to offer users an optimized browsing experience, aiming for instantaneous loading . To do this, it decided to create a new system to flag those websites that load slowly, warning the user, and to reward those that allow a faster experience, based on their loading history. The Mountain View giant is experimenting with different types of signals, such as the message “Usually loads slowly” on the loading screen, or a progress bar that changes color, from red to green, based on the speed of the website.
All this will be designed to be consistent between the various platforms on which Chrome Phone Number List is available, so as not to have different results for the same site. Google currently provides various tools to speed up the loading of web content: PageSpeed Insights , provides help in optimizing site parameters that affect loading speed. Lighthouse , an open source tool specifically for Chrome. The plan, however, is more long-term: it provides for different types of reports for optimizing navigation, which could include other aspects beyond "simple" speed.
This project has just begun and, as confirmed by Google itself, involves various stages of improvement. Ultimate goal? Optimize navigation, thus pushing developers to create sites appropriately, putting users first, offering them greater transparency on the typical performance of the site and the best possible experiences. First step: speed . There is not yet a defined date for the effective operation of badges on Chrome, but as soon as it is announced, together with the other promised innovations, we will return to discuss it. Stay tuned.
